This article on North Carolina vacation rentals with Peloton currently includes homes in the following North Carolina locations:
- Atlantic Beach
- Avon (Outer Banks)
- Blowing Rock
- Chatham County
- Kure Beach
- Salvo (Outer Banks)
As you can tell from that list, these are homes and condos available for short term vacation rentals in the mountains as well as at the beach. So, for example, are you looking to rent a house on the Outer Banks? And, do you want to be able to ride a Peloton bike on vacation? If so, then some of these homes would be perfect.
Additionally, those looking to enjoy fall foliage in the Blue Ridge mountains–and keep their Peloton streak going–will find vacation rentals that fit the bill, too. I mean, a town like Asheville, North Carolina, is great to visit at any time of the year.

North Carolina Vacation Rentals with Peloton
North Carolina has a handful of homes with Pelotons available for a vacation rental. They are all listed below in alphabetical order by location.
Currently, all of these homes are available via VRBO. However, there are two other vacation rental sites worth noting.
Homes & Villas by Marriott International
A handful of homes under Homes & Villas by Marriott International have Pelotons in them. Primarily, they are in California and New York. However, should I find any in North Carolina, I’ll be sure to add them here.
List of North Carolina Vacation Rentals with Peloton
A friend recently returned from staying at this four-bedroom, four-bath home in Asheville. According to this home’s VRBO listing, the rental includes a pass to the Biltmore. But, even better than that, this mountain retreat has a Peloton Bike Plus. Note: the bike pedals take Delta LOOK cleat shoes only; there are no shoe cages.
The owners of this VRBO listing reached out to me to let me know about her updated three bedroom, three-bath home with mountain views, two stories of deck space and, of course, a Peloton bike. That’s a picture of it below.
On the North Carolina Crystal Coast, this Atlantic Beach home has five bedrooms and four baths. It sits right next to the beach and has a Peloton bike in what it calls the “Tiki Room”–so says the VRBO listing. The home even has an elevator.
Finally, I can share a vacation rental on the Outer Banks of North Carolina with a Peloton bike. This one is located in Avon, in a planned community, that you can book on Expedia.
In addition to have a Peloton bike in one of the rooms (shown here), it’s also a pet-friendly vacation rental.
- 3 bedrooms
- 2 bathrooms
- Sleeps 6
- Hot tub
- Boat launch
Here are some ideas for the best Outer Banks restaurants.
This large log cabin in Western North Carolina recently added a Peloton Bike. Here is how the VRBO listing describes it:
“We now have a Peloton for guests to use. Must be experienced and bring your own cycling shoes.”
I would assume the Peloton uses the traditional Delta Look cleats on your cycling shoes. The picture below shows traditional Peloton bike shoes next to it. However, since some owners swap out the pedals for SPD, I’d confirm with the owner before booking.
The house itself is located on 3.5 acres of a beautiful and private mountain landscape. It has three levels, five bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms.
Plus, it’s close to the beautiful Chetola Resort, also in Blowing Rock.
The owner of this Chatham County VRBO reached out to let me know about her home. Here is what she told me:
“I came across your blog post about VRBO listings with a Peloton in NC. I have just posted our listing for our second home near the Research Triangle Park and Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill areas of NC which has a Peloton.”
That Peloton is in the primary bedroom of this four-bedroom home, which sits on nearly five acres of wooded land.
Located south of Asheville and in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, this vacation rental, listed on VRBO, is actually a two-bedroom, one bath apartment in the lower level of a home. However, it is chock full of amenities, including a Peloton Bike Plus, shown below. Just look at the view you’d get to enjoy working out here!
The owners of this one bedroom, one bath cottage (which sleeps up to four) near Carolina Beach reached out to me to let me know about their home. It is a beach lovers and fitness enthusiasts’ dream vacation home. Here’s what it contains, as per the VRBO listing:
- Pelotons (2) – With active memberships (or login with your own) so you can enjoy their full range of classes
- Dumbbells (5-50 lbs) – Rubber hex dumbbells that can be used for various exercises
- Adjustable Bench – this bench inclines and declines and also has a foot hold
- Foam Rollers (2)
- Ab Roller Wheel (1)
- Resistance Bands (10-50 lbs)
- Jump Ropes (2)
- Large Mirrors
- Flat Screen TV – equipped with a Roku to stream any of your video subscription services to watch workout videos or your favorite shows
The workout room, described above, is shown in the picture below.
Located on OBX, this North Carolina vacation rental on VRBO has a Peloton bike in the home’s rec room. That rec room includes a pool table, too.
This home has seven bedrooms and 7.5 bathrooms, and can sleep 14 people. The three-story home is in the Wind Over Waves development.
Situated in the Appalachian Mountains, this is a three-bedroom cottage near downtown Waynesville. The VRBO listing says its a vintage stone cottage–it’s quite adorable.
In addition to having a Peloton bike, there is something else modern about this vintage home. It also includes an electric vehicle (EV) charger. So, bring your Tesla or other electric car.
Final thoughts Vacation Rentals with Pelotons in North Carolina
Like all the other blog posts I’ve written about vacation rentals with Pelotons, this article is a work in progress. So, as I learn about additional North Carolina homes with a Peloton that you could rent for vacation, I’ll add to this article.
Finally, if you have a home in North Carolina, with a Peloton, that you rent, here is a link to sign it up on VRBO. Then, once you have that VRBO listing available, get in touch so I can add it to this article.
